Many animals have been a source of inspiration for several generations who have sought the longed-for peace. These animals make us dream and sigh for having the essential elements that symbolize peace: freedom, love, tenderness, reconciliation. Thus, the dove is perhaps the animal that most represents peace, but in different parts of the world they can be hated by architects who suffer from the damage caused by their dung.

Pigeon

The only bird that produces its own milk to feed its young is the dove; this is how this animal has been associated with the symbolism of breeding, of motherhood. In order to produce this liquid, the dove stops feeding before its young are born; this effort and sacrifice so that its chicks can be fed gives them the symbolism of conception and care. The dove represents the spirit and the soul.

Sheep and Goats

These animals are identified as a symbol of harmony and peace. They are known as free-spirited and adventurous. They renew their wool as a symbol of purity, of change of rebirth; it symbolizes docility and sacrifice, directing protection to the mind and heart. What better example of renewal than changing wool? Such must be peace. Renewing the spirit to change actions and thoughts.

Buffalo

Who would have thought that this great mammal represents a healthy and peaceful life. It is also associated with abundance, gratitude, strength, prosperity. The Buffalo was considered by the indigenous tribes of North America, as a sacred animal, as the one that indicates to take conscience, to think about the others. It symbolizes the strength of the great spirit and inner peace.

Probably there are many more animals that through time the symbolism has given them the title of bearers of peace. Do you know any more? Share with us !!!!
