There are hundreds of places on earth that man has not been able to reach, or if they have reached, they have not left. That is why it is necessary to dedicate several articles to review some of these places that have as many mysteries as years of existence.  Here are some of them.

Northwest Siberia

Siberia is almost entirely covered by ice.   It is located in the East Asian part of Russia.   A very extreme continental climate prevails.  There are quite a few expeditions present in the area, studying its soil, climate and biosphere.  Also it is a place of many mysteries, like the holes or craters that have constantly appeared.

Amazon Rainforest

It is the largest rainforest by far and the one that provides the most oxygen to humans.   It has 6 million square kilometers of extension that come from Brazil, passing through Peru, Bolivia, Colombia, Venezuela, Ecuador, Guyana, French Guiana and Suriname. Its average temperature is 26ºC. It has the largest mineral reserve on Earth, as well as the largest number of species of fauna and flora on the planet, hosting 30% of the Earth’s diversity.   It has been impossible to fully explore the region due to its habitat.

Greenland Ice Cap

It covers 1.71 million km².   These are the largest ice sheets in the world and they are melting alarmingly without having been studied in depth.  It is a warning due to the rise in sea level; this is due to the effect of climate change and global warming.

Cocos Island

It is located about 36 hours in Barceo from Costa Rica and is on the Pacific Ocean.   It has a unique biodiversity in the world. More than 2000 waterfalls fall into the sea.  Its name comes from a metaphor: “this island has as much water inside as a coconut”.   The island has many legends of hidden treasures. The island is covered by a forest that remains green, very dense, all year round.

Mysterious Kalimantan in Indonesia

This place in Indonesia has so many secrets to discover that it attracts many travelers.   There are exotic animals as well as unique species present in the area.  There are as many caves as there are paintings inside them, which have not yet been discovered in their entirety and which do not give clues to their origin
